I have recently discovered the LipSurgence line of lip products and its newest family member, the Natural Matte Lip Tint. All of the products in the LipSurgence line are incredibly creamy, and moisturizing, so I am delighted to talk about the newest addition to the line since I love matte lip shades but hate dry lips.
I shade I purchased is called Exposed and it’s a peach-toned nude. I think this shade is georgous and look’s great on any skin tone. It’s creamy, silky and luxurious just like the rest of the LipSurgence lip colors and I love the matte finish. I also have the Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Exposed and call me cheesy but I like being able to coordinate my lip and cheek color, especially if I’m going for a bold eye and don’t want my lips or cheeks to detract from that.
All of the LipSurgence line has a peppermint scent which is nice and they are naturally plumping from the peppermint oil and also from the long term effects of super-moisturizing your lips (hydrated lips are more full than dry lips).
Kissable and moisturizing
I think the matte shades are the most “kissable” of the LipSurgence line because they don’t rub off as much as their cousins the Lusters and the Tints. After the matte shades have set for about 30 minutes they tend to stay put for the next 4 or 5 hours if you don’t eat anything or drink a lot. They do wear off over time but they wear off evenly so you can reapply whenever is convenient. They are a little bit addictive though because they feel so nice on your lips.
If you want more details about the LipSurgence line, I have a post (with video) where I cover each of the 3 LipSurgence finishes: Original Tint, Luster, and Matte.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
Gorgeous shade. Feels wonderful on my lips…lasts fairly well and is non-drying.
I love this shade so much that I really want to try some more. I’ll post swatches as soon as I get more shades!
